Our Staff
Teaching Staff
All academic classes are taught by teachers credentialed in special education who have received extensive training in learning disabilities. Ongoing training in “research-based best practices” is provided to the Frostig staff by our Head of School, who is a Certified Professional Developer in learning strategies. Our highly-trained staff is also encouraged to attend workshops and conferences outside the school.
There is an array of instructors who are specialized in art, drama, music, cinema, computer science and Spanish. We have a librarian on staff who actively works with the students. Each specialized instructor is trained and experienced in his/her particular field.
“If I had a student with a learning disability I would surely send them to the Frostig School.”

Clinical Staff
There are clinicians onsite to serve the varied needs of our students. They include educational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors and an assistive technology expert. The student sessions can be one-on-one or in small groups.
“I want to thank everyone at Frostig who helped me push myself to my limits and even beyond. “
