Frostig shares its expertise with the community by providing professional development to hundreds of preschool and elementary school teachers every year. The Consultation & Education Department works with private, public, and parochial schools and preschools throughout Los Angeles County and beyond. Through workshops, coaching, and consultation, we help teachers gain knowledge and practical, research-based classroom strategies to support all students in becoming successful learners.

Classroom Consultation and Instructional Coaching

Our Education Specialists are available to observe in classrooms and meet with individual teachers, offering strategies and resources based on their unique needs.

Child-Focused Consultation

When individual children are experiencing difficulties in their current setting, our Education Specialists offer classroom observations, informal assessment, and staff and/or parent feedback, as well as referrals to community resources if appropriate.
