Onsite Clinical Services

The Clinical Services Department plays a key role in the successful implementation of Frostig School’s whole child approach to special education.

Clinical services are offered individually or in a small group setting of no more than 3 students. At Frostig School West the following services are available:

  • Counseling: In person
  • Speech and language therapy: Telehealth
  • Educational therapy: In person
  • Assistive technology: Consultation

Frostig’s counselors and educational therapists perform a significant amount of collaborative instruction in the classroom. In that situation, the therapist observes and works with the student and observes interactions with the teacher.

In addition, Frostig School therapists educate families on techniques they can use at home to support the child.

For all clinical services, funding is provided either privately by parents or through the IEP process.
