Computers are essential learning tools for children of all ages and abilities, but they are especially powerful for children with learning differences. Computers allow teachers to design multi-sensory lessons that appeal to all of their students. Computers also provide our students with assistive technology that can reduce barriers to learning.
Frostig provides all students with a laptop or tablet that they use throughout the school day. Frostig teachers use Google Classroom to create and manage classes, grades, and assignments; to add materials to assignments, such as YouTube videos, and to give direct, real-time feedback. Our supply of computer devices and experience with digital learning gave Frostig the tools to make a smooth pivot to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
