Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Frostig School West. We are pleased to inform you that we accept applications and enroll students year-round. It is never too late to join the Frostig community and help our child rediscover their love of learning!

Frostig School West welcomes students in elementary, middle and high school who have complex learning challenges. Frostig students have diagnosed learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, processing disorders, and dyscalculia, while others live with ADHD, high functioning autism spectrum disorder, and anxiety. Most Frostig students contend with more than one challenge, such as dyslexia, and ADHD, high functioning autism and auditory processing disorder.

If your child has learning differences and has struggled in a traditional school environment, Frostig may be the right fit for your family.

The admissions process begins with a guided tour that provides an overview of Frostig School West, its mission, history, philosophy, facilities, and programs.

Director of FSW, Kim Petrarca, will walk you through a typical school day and share information about our learning program.

To inquire about Frostig West or to schedule a tour, please complete the form below. To discuss your child’s educational needs prior to signing up for a tour, please contact Dean Conklin at dean@frostig.org.

Frostig accepts applications year round. To begin the application process, please submit an inquiry first. After submitting an inquiry, an account will be created and you will be able to log in to complete the application through our online portal.

When submitting your application, please remember to upload your child’s recent IEP, progress reports, current transcript, psychoeducational and/or neuropsych evaluation, academic assessments and any other reports (Speech, PT, OT) that would be helpful for us to review.

Tuition for the 2025-26 academic year at the West LA campus is $60,196. That includes added costs associated with exceptionally small class size and low teacher-student ratios.

In some cases, the IRS considers the cost of tuition at a specialized school like Frostig to be a treatment for a medical condition and allows these costs to be a tax-deductible medical expense. We suggest you consult with a tax adviser.
